Added a new Dutch RSS search engine.

Postami soon.

Blog Search Engine has been added under 'search for blogs.'
November 22, 2003
I've removed the links to recently updated blog sites. There's not much point in those for humans. Also, I've made another change that you can't see, perhaps the biggest change to Fagan Finder ever. It will be some time before this change gets taken advantage of.
November 14, 2003
I have moved BlogMatrix to “Search For Blogs,” where I also added BlogsCanada. Bloogz, BlogVision, and BlogRunner have been added to "Search in Blogs." Australian Weblogs were added to the links.
October 8, 2003
Feeder and GBloogle have been removed due to their lack of existing.
July 22, 2003
Feeder is back online, and re-added. Only now it is a blog search engine rather than an RSS search engine. Also
RocketNews has been added.
June 28, 2003
Fyuze has been added as an RSS search engine.
June 28, 2003
I changed the
BlogStreet search from their new one to their old one, and changed the link to the new search page.
BlogDigger’s search seems to be down, but I have not removed it yet. The
Open Weblog Directory link has been updated to the their new address.
Blawg Search has been added as an RSS search engine, however their own blog indicates that they will soon index blogs without RSS feeds.
LiveJournal - Latests Posts has been added to the links.
June 27, 2003
Fresh Search has been removed, as it no longer exists. rssSearch has been removed, as it has merged with
Feedster, and Wander-Lust has been removed now that it has closed down. Small fix for the
Yahoo! Directory search.
BlogMatrix seems to have full-text searching back up, so I have moved it to
Search In Blogs. It clusters posts by blog. I added
Technorati’s new search and removed Technorati from the links.
Xenoblogs has been removed, now that it has officially closed. I have also updated the description of many of the links with the number of blogs that website includes.
May 4, 2003
I added
RDF-Ticker under “search for RSS feeds.”

Lots of stuff today; here it is, extremely unorganized:
I added a new tool,
Blogging Headline News, to the “search in RSS feeds.” I also removed Feeder, as it has been down for some time. I changed the label of my
RSS page to read “All About RSS.” I fixed the
Waypath search. Waypath is currently going through some growing pains, but the search seems to be operational. I updated the
title attributes of a number of tools, to reflect how many blogs they now include, and appropriately re-ordered some of them. The
Yahoo! Directory finally has a
weblog category, so I have updated the page to reflect that. I added
recently updated Blogger blogs; I chose to link to the three hour version rather than then ten minute one. I removed the link to
Blogroots because it isn’t the only site to do what it does. There are tons and tons of blogs about blogs, so linking to just one would be unfair. I may in the future link to a directory of blogs about blogs, or a blogs about blogs aggregator, or something like that.
Suggestions welcome. I also removed the link to
Microcontent News, because it hasn’t been updated in some time. I added
Blog Impressario, by
Tim Swanson, to the links. He’s writing about blog resources on that blog, and then categorizing them in the sidebar. It would be nice if all that sidebar material had its own page, something a little wider.
Blog Universe, a blog directory, is up to 365 links, so I am getting closer to adding it. Most
Hiplogs seem to have just a few entries, so I’m not adding them yet. I did, however, add
Fotolog.net and
Breaking Blogs.

Feeder has been down for about a week, but an email to the creator tells me that it will be back tonight. I added a link to a new Fagan Finder document,
RSS. Accordingly, I also removed the links labelled “news readers” and “RSS feeds” as both of these are included in the new page.
April 9, 2003
Janes’ Blogosphere is now
BlogMatrix. I’ve made the fixes. Also, I’ve been discussing some interesting ideas with
BlogDigger; we’ll see where that goes.
April 6, 2003
Would you believe that
Technorati now indexes over 200,000 blogs?
April 3, 2003
I updated the
title attribute of
RSS Search, to reflect that it now includes almost 22,000 blogs. That currently means 361,000 blog posts (or
RSS items to be more accurate). This information and more I have garnered by reading
FS Consulting Inc’s Weblog, which has lately included a lot of information about the very advanced searching that is available from
RSS Search. Also, thanks to
Danny Sullivan for adding a mention in his article
RSS: Your Gateway To News & Blog Content:
Also be sure to visit Fagan Finder’s fantastic blog & RSS meta search page, where you can tap into many of the resources listed in this article from one location, as well as discover many others.
and to
Sebastian Paquet for another mention.
March 22, 2003
I added a link to Fagan Finder’s new
What’s Happening page. It is a directory of pages on what’s happening in the news, blogosphere, etc. Check it out. I have also decided to add
Root Blog to the links, under “recently updated.”
Blogosphere.us is now live. Lastly, I added stats of the page at the bottom under “information,” and a link to Fagan Finder’s
Searchbox, so users can add Fagan Finder’s tools to their own websites.
March 19, 2003
Root Blog is improving, now with “recent blog entries.”
March 17, 2003
Boy, the
RSS search engines keep rolling in. I’ve added
Feeder today, via
InfoWorld, via
NewsNow.
March 17, 2003
I moved
Blo.gs to “search for blogs,” and renamed “miscellaneous” to “blog metadata collectors.” I also added a new tool,
RSS Search (found out via
Ben Hammersley).
March 15, 2003
It looks like
BlogStreet has a new design out and some new features, including the ability to rate, review, and categorize blogs. I updated the
title attribute of their link to reflect that they now have over 107,000 blogs. I also moved
Popdex from the links section to the search section, under “miscellaneous.” Today I found
Blogging Brits and
Updated UK Weblogs (via
DJ Martian). I added the latter to the links under “recently updated,” but I didn’t add the former because it has “only” 300 blogs.
February 15, 2003
I added
TTLB Blogosphere Ecosystem to the links, under “blog metadata collectors.” I learned today about the
UserLand Site Report (via
Universal Rule), but I haven’t decided to add it yet. The reason for this is that it only includes blogs published using
Radio UserLand, and it doesn’t display that much information. I may change my mind later. Lastly,
Root Blog is on
Blogdex today, after showing up in many blogs’s referrals. So far it just seems to be a list of recently updated weblogs: nothing new there.
March 13, 2003
Okay, I have officially changed Roogle to
Feedster.
