More:
Fast (AllTheWeb is Fast's search engine) has one of the largest indexes on the web, and is now the freshest, having about 30% of their database reindexed weekly.
Despite downsizing, it is one of the most innovative search engines. It now includes topic clustering (grouping of websites into topics, based partly on the ODP) and query re-writing (changing what you type into a better query).
Fast now powers Lycos, Scirus, and quite a few other search engines, many of them European. Fast now powers FirstGov. Fast's other searches (news, images, audio, video, and FTP) are some of the best on the web.
On web search result pages, Fast provides search tips, tells you if your query was re-written, and displays several results from Fast's other vertical searches.
AllTheWeb now has very advanced customization.
